I found this record while Goodwill Hunting. As you can see at a glance, there isn't much to it. TEST PRESSING, sides A and B. For $1, this vinylphile wasn't about to ask questions. That is, until I played it.
Maybe not the first time, second or eighth times playing it through. As the elements of the song dwelt in my head--the catchy sex-riddled guitar, the awkward voice bridges, the skyscaper octaves--I decided that I had to know.
I needed to find this artist. I played it for everyone I could. No one knew. No one had an idea. But it was always received with unbridled enthusiasm. So I owe it to myself, and to everyone this track comes across to find him.
I've Googled every word, scratch, and marking on the record (I'll post those later) to no avail. I've contacted the Discmakers company. Shazam, Tunatic, Midomi, NameMyTune...all shit the bed. I'm running out of avenues.
If you, or anyone you know may be able to help me find the name of the track, the artist, or some way of researching vinyl records in-depth, it would be greatly appreciated.
I'll update this with more pictures, transcribed labels, tracks, lyrics, etc...
